This fantastic event is very much an antidote to the ‘real’ Monaco Grand Prix and is much more relaxed and sociable. It just oozes style, charm and fun. Encapsulating the lifestyle that Monaco and the Cote d’Azur have to offer; it is a superb ‘advert’ for the region. Little wonder that property buyers have been lured here for decades! Lifestyle, climate and accessibility have all helped in creating this perennially popular property market for international buyers.

Hindle & Baldock have been given an exclusive insight to racing at Monaco by Bobby Verdon – Roe, the winner of the 2010 Historic Grand Prix in his ex James Hunt, 1977 McLaren F1.

Bobby lived in Monaco with his father in the late 80’s and early 90’s and was fortunate enough to witness the multiple victories of Ayrton Senna in both the Williams and McLaren teams during those years. Senna’s achievements were all the incentive Bobby needed to start his own racing career. Bobby has raced successfully in many Formulae and raced at Le Mans . He was the winner of the FIA Historic Formula 1 Championship in 2009 and continues to race Historic cars at the very highest level.
When asked about racing at Monaco Bobby commented ‘ I can safely say it is my favourite track in the world. Incredibly challenging, completely unforgiving but iconic to the point that when you first start driving round, you cannot quite believe that what is happening is real, especially when you are driving a well set up Formula 1 car.’

We wish Bobby all the very best for the forthcoming race.
